Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving and have experience operating various types of heavy machinery. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of materials to and from job sites. The Dump Truck Driver will play a key role in supporting construction and excavation projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload materials as needed, utilizing appropriate equipment. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and completed deliveries. Operate additional heavy machinery as required, including bulldozers, graders, loaders, and tankers. Assist with site preparation tasks such as digging, paving, and horizontal drilling when necessary. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar vehicles. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Experience operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, graders, loaders, or tankers is preferred. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
