Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support workforce programs across multiple shipyard locations. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by assisting with candidate coordination, onboarding, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate candidate onboarding, scheduling, and communication Support daily program operations and administrative tasks Assist with workforce logistics, documentation, and compliance Provide on-site support at shipyard locations as needed Collaborate with internal teams to maintain efficient operations
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working on-site when required
Preferred:
Experience in staffing, operations, or workforce coordination Familiarity with vendor management systems (VMS/MSP)
Safety & Environmental Factors:
All employees are expected to adhere to the company's safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
