Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will coordinate patient appointments, manage medical records, and facilitate seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers. Your proactive approach and excellent administrative skills will ensure efficient clinic operations, enhance patient experience, and support the delivery of quality care. Duties Schedule patient appointments accurately in eClinicalWorks Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and coordinate insurance verification processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers Manage patient intake by collecting and reviewing medical documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy for billing and record-keeping purposes Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers via phone, email, or in-person interactions while maintaining professional phone etiquette Review medical records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA regulations; update or correct documentation as needed Support office management tasks such as appointment reminders, patient follow-up calls, and front desk duties including multi-line phone handling and clerical support Skills Proficiency with eClinicalWorks is a plus Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing speed of at least 10 key digits per minute Familiarity with health information management practices and HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient confidentiality Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy clinical setting Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively serve diverse patient populations Previous clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with insurance verification and medical administrative support is a plus Outstanding customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette to create a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike Join our team as a Medical Scheduler where your dedication to precision and compassionate service will help us deliver exceptional healthcare experiences. Pay:
