Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Sr. Electronics Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations related to electronics recycling, refurbishment, and IT asset disposition. This role requires strong operational leadership and working knowledge of R2v3 Standard for Responsible Recycling to ensure compliant, efficient, and environmentally responsible processing of electronic assets. The manager will lead teams, optimize operational workflows, and support compliance with industry standards developed by SERI (Sustainable Electronics Recycling International) . Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of electronics processing, including receiving, sorting, testing, refurbishment, and recycling. Ensure operational practices align with R2 V3 certification requirements and maintain audit readiness. Supervise technicians, warehouse staff, and operational personnel. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for electronics handling and processing. Monitor inventory tracking and chain-of-custody documentation. Ensure proper data destruction procedures and documentation. Maintain environmental, health, and safety standards within the facility. Coordinate with logistics, sales, and compliance teams to support efficient asset processing. Track operational metrics such as throughput, recovery rates, and operational efficiency. Train staff on compliance, safety, and operational procedures. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years experience in electronics recycling, ITAD, or electronics processing operations. Working knowledge of R2 V3 standards and compliance requirements . Experience managing teams in warehouse or electronics processing environments. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with inventory management systems and operational reporting. Ability to maintain documentation required for compliance and audits. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an R2 V3 certified facility . Knowledge of IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) operations. Experience supporting compliance audits and vendor due diligence programs.Pay:
