Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Coordinate food orders: Facilitate communication between servers and the kitchen to ensure accurate and timely processing of guest food orders Monitor ticket times: Track ticket times and follow up with the culinary team to ensure prompt delivery of food orders Inspect and finalize plates: Garnish and inspect dishes before serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards Maintain organization and cleanliness: Keep the expediting station clean, organized, and well-stocked to support smooth operations Collaborate across teams: Partner with servers, culinary staff, and other departments to ensure efficient service and foster a positive and productive work environment Enhance guest satisfaction: Proactively address any issues with orders to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold service excellence Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
