Property Management Operations Coordinator (Off-Site) Palm Plaza Beverly Hills, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $23 - $28 an hour 13 days ago Qualifications Sourcing Operations management Expense management Office management Property management Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a highly organized, disciplined, and proactive individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of a 19-unit apartment building in Beverly Hills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure, organization, and accountability to a property that is transitioning from informal management into a more professional and systemized operation. You will play a key role in improving tenant experience, maintaining the building, and creating systems that keep everything running efficiently. Schedule & Commitment Approximately 18-22 hours per week Preferred schedule: 3-4 days per week, approximately 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Some flexibility in scheduling, but consistent on-site presence is expected Compensation $2,000 - $2,400 per month (based on experience) Performance-based bonuses tied to rent collection, operations, and project completion Opportunity for increased compensation and responsibility over time Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Operations Conduct regular walkthroughs of all floors, common areas, and exterior Identify maintenance issues, safety concerns, and improvement opportunities Create and manage detailed task lists for repairs and ongoing upkeep Tenant Management & Communication Direct tenants to use proper systems (DoorLoop) for maintenance requests and rent payments Reduce informal communication (texts/calls) and enforce structured channels Follow up on all tenant issues until fully resolved Maintenance & Vendor Coordination Source vendors, gather quotes, and present organized options Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work Ensure vendors complete work on time and to standard Rent Collection & Lease Compliance Monitor rent payments and follow up on late accounts Help enforce structured rent collection policies Ensure lease terms are consistently followed Organization & Systems Organize storage areas, office space, and operational materials Maintain accurate records and updates in DoorLoop Build and improve systems for tracking tasks, projects, and expenses Role Expectations & Boundaries This role is focused strictly on property management operations The ability to maintain structure, stay task-focused, and uphold clear boundaries is essential You will be expected to take ownership of responsibilities and follow through without constant oversight Ideal Candidate Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong sense of accountability and follow-through Comfortable enforcing structure and improving systems Clear, professional communicator Resourceful and solution-oriented Trustworthy and dependable Preferred (but not required): Property management or real estate experience Experience with property management software (e.g., DoorLoop) Why This Role is Unique This is an opportunity to take real ownership of a property and help transform it into a well-run, highly organized operation.
