This pivotal role combines office management with surgical scheduling responsibilities, ensuring seamless coordination between physicians, patients, and external providers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office management, excellent supervisory skills, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and practice workflows. Your energy and proactive approach will drive efficiency, compliance, and exceptional patient service in our private office environment. Duties Manage surgical scheduling for outpatient procedures, coordinating with physicians, and external facilities to ensure timely patient care Obtain patient pre-op clearances for surgeries and forward to centers/ hospital Obtain prior authorizations for private insurance surgeries Check insurance eligibility and provide insurance quotes as needed Scan surgery face sheets and op-reports to the billing department Handle any patient billing issues with the billing department Handle physician credentialing as needed Send out monthly payments for office bills Order office supplies as needed Schedule QME appointments for one of the providers as needed Create medical-legal invoices for one of the providers as needed Oversee daily administrative functions within the front office, including staff supervision, and workflow optimization Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations related to patient privacy (HIPAA), billing practices, and clinical standards while maintaining high levels of customer service Qualifications Experience in a medical office setting or healthcare practice administration with a strong background in team supervision Knowledge of EMR and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with exceptional customer service abilities Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining high levels of accuracy in medical records management Join us in delivering outstanding healthcare services by ensuring our practice operates smoothly with efficiency and compassion.
