Full-Time | Direct Hire Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Expeditor to support production control, material flow, and manufacturing operations within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for moving parts throughout the facility, tracking production orders, coordinating workflow between departments, assisting planners, and ensuring jobs move efficiently through the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, production control experience, inventory tracking knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with production, planning, and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities Move parts and assemblies throughout the facility according to production routers and manufacturing schedules Track and maintain production order status using ERP and manufacturing software systems Assist Production Planners with: Order splits Lot tracking Pan transfers Production documentation Accurately identify parts using: Part numbers Lot numbers Production travelers Manufacturing routers Count and verify parts while maintaining inventory accuracy Process production documentation according to established procedures Coordinate with Production Control, Planning, and Manufacturing teams to support changing production priorities Locate parts, routers, and production orders throughout the facility Expedite hot jobs and critical orders through manufacturing departments Support workflow improvements and production efficiency initiatives Assist with scheduling adjustments and production status updates Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts Maintain accurate records and production tracking information Support cross-training and advancement opportunities within production operations Required Qualifications Previous experience in: Manufacturing Production Control Material Handling Inventory Control Expediting Aerospace Manufacturing Experience working with: ERP systems Production routers Manufacturing documentation Work orders Strong computer skills and data entry accuracy Ability to accurately count and track production inventory Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with all levels of manufacturing personnel Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency Preferred Qualifications Aerospace manufacturing experience Experience with: Production scheduling Shop floor control Material planning Inventory management Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and routing systems Experience supporting high-volume production environments Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk throughout the production facility for extended periods Frequent movement of parts, materials, and production documentation Ability to lift, carry, and transport materials as needed Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Work Environment This position operates within a manufacturing and aerospace production environment with exposure to: Production equipment Manufacturing operations Material handling activities Shop floor traffic and workflow Proper PPE and adherence to all company safety procedures are required.
