Staff Position Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. (1-hour lunch). 35-40 hours/week, rotating weekly: one week in the field / one week in the office
Compensation:
$24
  • 28/hour DOE + mileage reimbursement (+ $1/hour additional for second language fluency)

Accrued 2 weeks/year (increases with tenure) Job Overview We are a Southern California REO brokerage specializing in REO sales and property management. We are seeking career-minded Field Inspectors who want a structured, full-time role with predictable hours, clear expectations, and long-term growth opportunity. This position follows a consistent rhythm, one week in the field followed by one week in the office:
Field Week:
Conduct interior and exterior property inspections, document conditions, and verify vendor work
Office Week:
Complete reports, coordinate with vendors, maintain property records, and participate in training and team operations This role is in-office during office weeks , to support collaboration, training, and operational consistency across the team. What You Will Do Field Week Responsibilities Conduct interior and exterior property inspections Document property condition with detailed notes and high-quality photos Verify vendor work and maintenance completion Identify safety issues, property damage, or occupancy concerns Follow assigned routes with efficiency and consistency Maintain professional communication in the field Office Week Responsibilities Upload, review, and finalize inspection reports Maintain accurate property and compliance records Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and asset managers Support property readiness and listing preparation Participate in team meetings, training, and operational planning Who Thrives in This Role This role is best suited for professionals who are: Dependable, punctual, and consistent in execution Comfortable working in both structured office environments and field operations Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting habits Self-motivated and able to manage workload without close supervision Interested in building a long-term career in REO, property management, or real estate services Experience in REO, inspections, construction, property management, insurance adjusting, or similar field-based roles is strongly preferred. Compensation Structure (Experience-Based) We align pay with demonstrated independence, field capability, and specialized experience : $24

  • Developing Professional Some field experience, with prior REO, property preservation, or related background. Able to learn systems and workflows with guidance. $25
  • 27/hr
  • Competent / Self-Directed Inspector Can independently complete inspection routes and reports with minimal oversight. $27
  • 28/hr
  • Senior Inspector Experienced professional fully independent in field and office duties.
Language Premium:
+$1/hour for fluency in a second language (Spanish, Chinese, or any other language used professionally on the job…there will be a 2nd interview and testing in the 2nd language). Mileage reimbursement is provided separately for all business-related travel.
