Position Overview We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our front office team full-time. As the first face and voice our patients encounter, you will set the tone for their entire visit. You will play a pivotal role in managing the heartbeat of our practice: the daily schedule. Job Responsibilities Patient Warm Welcome:
Enthusiastically greet and check in patients upon arrival, ensuring they feel comfortable and welcomed into our office family.
Schedule Optimization:
Strategically schedule and confirm patient appointments to maintain a smooth, productive, and efficient daily flow for the doctor and clinical team.
New Patient Onboarding:
Answer phone calls with a warm phone demeanor, answer basic questions, and seamlessly schedule and welcome new patients to the practice.
DocumentationDigital Consent:
Manage, distribute, and collect patient consent forms and update necessary health history and registration details electronically.
Front Office Collaboration:
Coordinate with the clinical staff to ensure timely patient seating and handle patient check-out processes as needed.
Patient Communication:
Manage appointment confirmations via text, email, and phone calls to actively minimize short-notice cancellations and no-shows.
RequiredPreferred Qualifications Experience Dental Experience Required:
A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a dental front office is required. Familiarity with dental terminology, scheduling flows, and dental software is essential.
SkillsAttributes Exceptional Communication:
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional phone presence.
MultitaskingOrganization:
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently (answering phones, greeting walk-ins, and typing) without losing your smile.
Tech-Savvy:
Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic dental records (EDR) and digital communication platforms.
