Job Description:
About the role Francison Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler IV to join our established Project Controls division supporting the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) - one of the largest community college construction programs in the nation. This position is based at Los Angeles Southwest College and plays a critical role in managing and monitoring project schedules across active capital construction programs. Key responsibilities Coordinate the preparation of project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies Perform contractor schedule reviews for contract conformance and quality assurance Evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule Perform time impact analysis of project schedule delays and potential claims Participate in change order negotiations Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses Identify schedule-related problems and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions Review contractor weekly and monthly schedule progress; prepare and present findings to management Perform cost analysis in support of the design and construction phases of capital projects Prepare a cost-loaded schedule to support comprehensive cash flow projections Minimum qualifications 10+ years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (experience may substitute) Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Knowledge of cost engineering theories, principles, and scheduling practices Experience with time impact analysis and construction claims/change orders Ability to travel to multiple project sites as required Why Francison Consulting, Inc.
