Location:
Lincoln, CA. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Lincoln, CA. This role is ideal for a manufacturing professional with 1 to 2 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, scheduling, or operations support. The Production Scheduler will play a key role in coordinating production schedules, supporting inventory accuracy, analyzing labor and material efficiency, and helping ensure production teams have the right materials and information to meet operational goals. This is a great opportunity to join a stable manufacturing environment where teamwork, organization, and continuous improvement are valued. Candidates who enjoy working cross-functionally with plant, yard, production, and inventory teams will do well in this role. The position offers the chance to build hands-on experience in production operations, SAP processes, inventory reconciliation, and manufacturing planning while contributing directly to plant performance.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and distribute weekly production schedules for pipe, roof tile, floor tile, and other secondary operations.
  • Generate daily labor efficiency reports by department and material to support production performance tracking.
  • Analyze plant inventory turns, slow-moving inventory, and inventory accuracy to support operational planning.
  • Create material codes in SAP and assist with production and inventory-related system updates.
  • Prepare and manage monthly inventory reconciliation for finished goods, raw materials, and resale items.
  • Coordinate with yard and plant personnel on daily cycle counts, product transfers between plants, and mid-year and annual inventory preparation.
