• Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Patient Scheduler for a full-time contract opportunity with a leading healthcare organization in Newark, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong customer service, patient scheduling, and high-volume call experience who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• + Monday - Friday + 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM +

Pay Rate:

$ 28.34/hour

• Job Responsibilities
• + Respond to a high volume of inbound and outbound patient calls + Schedule, edit, and maintain appointments for new and returning patients + Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinic staff + Accurately document and route calls to the appropriate departments + Provide excellent customer service while supporting clinic operations + Identify urgent patient needs and escalate appropriately •Qualifications•+ Previous patient scheduling, medical office, call center, or healthcare customer service experience required + Experience handling high call volumes in a fast-paced environment + Epic EMR experience preferred + Strong communication and organizational skills + Ability to type at least 35 WPM + Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively •Additional Information•Qualified candidates will be required to complete an online assessment, including customer service scenarios and a typing skills evaluation.
