This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical and office responsibilities and who thrives in a patient centered environment. Duties & Responsibilities Answer and route phone calls, schedule and confirm patient appointments Verify insurance coverage and assist with patient registration and intake Assist physician with patient examinations and in-office procedures Prepare treatment rooms Record vital signs, medical history and intake notes in the EMR system Provide patient education on treatments, procedures and aftercare instructions Support clinical team wtih wound care, dressing changes and stocking supplies Ensure a clean, safe and efficient clinical environment Qualifications & Experience Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team Competitive pay (based on experience) Friendly supportive work environment On the job training
