In this role, you will be the vital link between our potential clients and our sales team - responsible for working our extensive lead database, managing outbound calls, and booking qualified appointments. Your proactive approach will help us expand our business development efforts and drive growth in the fast-moving cryptocurrency mining industry. Please review our company website www.pickaxe.io Compensation & Schedule $18/hour base pay Bonus on every closed deal that comes from an appointment you set - 1% comission (deal size ranges from $5000 to upwards of $100,000) Full-time, Monday-Friday In-office in Roseville, CA (this is not a remote position) Clear promotion path to full sales rep with higher base pay and commission Responsibilities Conduct outbound calls to our existing lead database (20,000+ contacts) to engage prospects and schedule appointments with our sales team Manage inbound inquiries and text replies with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and gathering qualifying information for follow-up Utilize our CRM (Close) to log interactions, update client records, and track appointment schedules accurately Coordinate with the sales team to prioritize leads and optimize scheduling efficiency Follow up on no-shows, reschedules, and aged leads to maximize appointment-hold rates Develop rapport with prospects through clear communication and active listening Support marketing initiatives by following up on campaign leads and nurturing ongoing client relationships Build product knowledge of Bitcoin mining hardware and hosting services to effectively communicate benefits and answer basic questions (full training provided) Skills & Experience Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly over the phone Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily Experience in appointment setting, SDR work, BDC, telemarketing, inside sales, or call center environments is preferred Backgrounds in car sales, insurance, solar, or other phone-based sales roles are a strong plus Familiarity with CRM software (we use Close — Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar experience translates well) Excellent verbal and written English Coachable, reliable, and consistently on-time Interest in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is a plus, but no prior knowledge required — we'll train you Why This Role Matters This isn't a dead-end seat.
