Medical Clinic Scheduler

Job description Duties Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar. Responsible for scheduling 40+ patients per day. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient scheduling and minimize wait times Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments Verify patient insurance information and update patient records as necessary Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations Assist with other administrative tasks as needed Experience Previous experience as a scheduler or in a similar role preferred- 1 year Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic medical record systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, Gmed) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Familiar with Insurances and authorizations. CPT code knowledge for in-office appointments such as 99205 and 99215. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
