Operates and maintains medical simulators and simulator hardware and software, task-trainers, augmented reality and virtual reality systems, learning management systems, and audiovisual systems for the PIH Health Simulation Program. The SOS supports simulation-based learning throughout the PIH Health system and assures simulation operation and utilization within the Simulation Center and in-situ environments, and sustains educational settings featuring skills, competency, and professional training for PIH Health clinical and non-clinical and medical staff. Assists enterprisewide educators and staff with planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating simulation training events. Adept at using audiovisual equipment, recording and editing, and managing a video library.
Required Experience Required:
Associate's degree in technology or healthcare-related field, or in an equally qualified field. Experienced in using Microsoft Office and data gathering/interpreting applications.
Preferred:
Experience in simulation or related healthcare experience. Experienced in operating, managing, and maintaining simulation equipment. Experienced in operating, managing, and maintaining learning management systems. Experience in customer service role or industry. Experienced in audiovisual recording and editing. Experienced in 3D printing, task trainer fabrication, and moulage application. Licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician or greater.
