Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Centralized Scheduling Specialist , where you'll play a vital role in coordinating outpatient service scheduling and ensuring a seamless patient experience. This position is responsible for reviewing physician orders, completing accurate patient registrations, validating medical necessity, and coordinating prior authorizations. Other Skills and Abilities:
Accurate, efficient, key-boarding skills; ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities; highly organized. Medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9 coding, medical insurance knowledge, and 10-key skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to assist with resolutions to issues and problems. Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE A
minimum of three years related business and/or customer service experience, preferably in a hospital, medical or physician office.
