  • To be a key member of the Planning Department who leads and coordinates all the daily planning activities for Molding, Pad Printing and Assembly and help us meet our goals for on-time delivery of quality products to customers. 2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORITY
  • Continuously reviews customer requirements and maintain system information to ensure inventory of finished goods and work in progress are kept at optimal levels.
  • Work closely with purchasing to ensure raw material availability is aligned with order scheduling to meet customer requirement commitments.
  • Ensure the planning and scheduling of all customer requirements are continuously updated and available to all functional areas of the business.
  • Ensure all functional areas are aware of schedule updates and priorities to ensure customer commitments are meet.
  • Provide customer commitment dates and keep customers abreast proactively of date and quantity of expected deliveries
  • Lead schedule for operations of Molding, Printing and Assembly departments including timely and accurate performance of work
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all internal and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a high level of communication and collaboration with all functional groups.
  • Supports all Quality and Safety activities and initiatives of Forum Plastics LLC.
  • Supports Forum management's company growth objective.
  • To follow the company's Quality Policy and ensure that the ISO standard requirements are maintained. 3.0 DUTIES
  • Coordinates the flow of material, parts and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules.
  • Support new product introduction/transfers projects.
  • Maintain shop floor scheduling and devise methods to achieve cost effective and efficient processes to ensure optimal asset utilization while meeting customer requirements
  • Work closely with assembly and printing personnel.
  • Provides manufacturing support for molding and secondary operations.
  • Maintains relationships with clients to ensure a continuous improvement process is in place to optimize lead times, costs and communication.
  • Promotes an atmosphere that facilitates open and effective communication.
  • Provides assembly room and printing department job priorities.
  • Performs other functions as required. 4.0 EDUCATION
  • High school graduate or equivalent. 5.0 EXPERIENCE
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve.
  • Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes related to medical devices a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures, and policies. OSHA background helpful.
  • Speaking, reading, and writing bilingual ability a plus.
  • Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
