Team Lead Job Description :
Summary:
Provides daily management of badge issuance and/or PIV card issuance; ensures continuous workflow and performance of on-site staff.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Team Lead will schedule and assign duties to the HSPD-12 team and interact with Agency points of contact to ensure consistent management of personnel. Create monthly schedule and ensure full coverage. Provide reports and data as requested by the Agency. Ensure newly assigned Badge Office Employees are trained in the processing of badging paperwork. Oversee HSPD-12 Security Specialist daily operations: Printing and issuing new and replacement badges for government and contract employees. Collection and validation of identity documents; capture images of applicant fingerprints and taking applicant photographs. Program new IDs in Agency's access control system. Processing all badge requests and renewal forms, checking for proper authorization, sponsorship, vendor codes, clearance actions, etc. Processing credential requests. Troubleshooting inquiries, issues and other problems associated with the enrollment and issuance of badges. Creating and maintaining databases for outstanding credentials, ID/PIV cards. Provide assistance to Physical Security and Access Control Officers regarding the status of the Client's badges. Sort through all badges and IDs returned to Badge Office, check database to identify their status and processing and/or disposing of badges accordingly. Answer telephone inquiries, questions regarding badge office policies, procedures, badging and processing issues. Other duties as assigned.
Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of formal education, experience, professional training, and certifications. A two-year college degree is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the operation, and lifecycle management of HSPD-12 or other government issued credentials; AND Familiarity with access control system platforms. Experience with DHS systems is preferred. Strong working knowledge of access control platforms, FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) 201-3, Office of Management and Budget Memo (s) M11-11and M-05-24, National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, EXCEL, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.
Communication:
