Operations Assistant INVISTA life insurance, parental leave, 401(k) United States, Delaware, Seaford Sep 01, 2026 Your Job INVISTA Seaford is seeking an Operations Assistant to help keep production running safely and efficiently. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience moving materials, operating equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting product quality. INVISTA's Seaford facility has been proudly producing Nylon fibers for over 75 years. INVISTA Our Team Our team is made up of Shift Supervisors, Machine Operators, and Operations Assistants who work together to safely deliver high-quality fiber products. Operations Assistants support one of two production areas within the facility: Spinning or Finishing. Spinning Operations
Team members support a continuous manufacturing process and work a 12-hour rotating DuPont schedule that provides 24/7 operational coverage and built-in stretches of time off throughout the year. Finishing Operations Team members support the final stages of the production process and currently work rotating 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday (12:00 a.m.
- 8:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.
- 12:00 a.
m.). Schedule requirements may expand to 24/7 operations based on business needs.

Starting Rates up to $20.00 / hour; increase after training program; shift differential and overtime

Operate assigned production equipment safely and follow procedures
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Sort products according to quality requirements
Work safely and complete tasks with limited supervision
Communicate production needs and safety concerns to the team
Read and follow work instructions, procedures, and safety information
Enter accurate information into computer systems Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Basic skills in computer operation or with hand-held devices
Ability to work a rotating shift, up to 12-hours to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Physical Requirements Required to wear any or all of the following
PPE:
safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, gloves, and safety shoes. PPE use is in accordance with the safety rules and regulations.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs, repetitively as required
Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, industrial, non-temperature-controlled, high-volume environment. What Will Put You Ahead Manufacturing or warehouse experience
Experience with reading, understanding, communicating, and applying policies and procedures.
Previous experience operating powered equipment (forklift or pallet jack).
