This is not a remote position. The Imaging Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patient imaging tests in an efficient and timely manner. Answers incoming calls and directs calls to appropriate personnel. Serves as a liaison between the patient and medical staff. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Demonstrates an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect the patient and clinic/corporation. Monitors and completes incoming orders throughout the work day. Confirms, cancels and/or reschedules patient appointments as needed. Documents the patient's account of any pertinent information relating to imaging testing and authorizations. Answers incoming calls from patients and practices and responds to emails from practices. Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with patients, office personnel and providers. Obtains previous studies for comparison which would include reports and disk images. All other duties as assigned. Full-time position

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum one year of imaging scheduling experience in a medical setting.
