Contract Role Overview We are seeking a qualified candidate to join a project Scheduling Team for an Engineering and Construction Division. This position will have the responsibility and authority to schedule generation resources to economically balance load and generation, meeting real-time system conditions and complying with applicable regulatory requirements and NERC reliability standards. The role involves working directly with Project Originators, Developers, Early Stage Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Construction Managers to support the development, engineering, and construction of various technologies such as Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, and Transmission Lines. Key Responsibilities Oversee strategic planning and scheduling efforts, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimizing load-generation balance. Lead teams in the creation, maintenance, and progress of project schedules using Primavera P6 Software. Develop work orders, ensure coordination between operations, and lead scheduling processes for maintenance, compliance, and project execution. Prepare monthly reports for construction projects, comparing baseline schedules to progress, including critical path method analysis and resource loading. Evaluate and approve OASIS requests and Tags, and perform energy accounting functions. Coordinate the committing, decommitting, and outages of power plants with the System Operator. Provide technical leadership in power system forecasting, emergency planning, and compliance with industry regulations. Lead root cause analysis for operational efficiency improvements and report project status and variances to management.
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management, or a similar field is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 15 years of experience in advanced scheduling, power system operations, and project coordination is required.
Technical Skills:
5+ years of Primavera P6 Scheduling software experience. Preferred Qualifications Power Coordinator Certification is preferred. Extensive experience in NERC-certified operations, outage planning, and operational risk management. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is between $58.00 and $62.49 per hour.
