This position manages crew scheduling processes, ensures compliance with FAA regulations and company policies, and supports operational continuity through effective workforce planning and coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong aviation operational knowledge, leadership skills, and experience with crew management systems and scheduling practices. Reporting Structure Reports directly to the Chief Pilot. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop, manage, and maintain periodic crew schedules and bid lines for company crewmembers. Oversee crew management functions within the company's scheduling and operational systems to ensure all flight operations are conducted in compliance with applicable FAA regulations, CFR requirements, company policies, and flight and duty limitations. Manage and supervise Crew Schedulers to ensure awarded crew lines and schedule assignments are completed accurately and within established guidelines and company procedures. Analyze, compile, and maintain operational reports and scheduling data to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of crew resource management. Maintain accurate crew seat position records and up-to-date contact information for all company crewmembers. Coordinate with the Chief Pilot and operational leadership to develop, publish, and implement policies and procedures that support fair, compliant, and efficient crew utilization. Establish, revise, and maintain crew scheduling procedures, manuals, instructions, and operational communications. Monitor and maintain flight crew training records and coordinate periodic audits to ensure compliance and operational readiness. Support Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives and fulfill all responsibilities assigned under the company SMS Manual and related compliance programs. Assist operational departments with irregular operations, staffing coverage, schedule adjustments, and operational planning as needed. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of crew scheduling information and employee records. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by leadership. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of crew scheduling experience in an airline or aviation environment preferred. Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, crew duty and rest requirements, and aviation operational procedures. Experience working with crew management and scheduling systems preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting tools. Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Preferred Qualifications Previous supervisory or management experience within Crew Scheduling or Operations Control. Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS). Experience with international and cargo operations preferred. Work Environment Operational aviation environment with occasional after-hours and weekend support requirements. Ability to respond to operational changes and irregular operations in a timely manner.
