Scheduling Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing provider schedules, and ensuring a seamless scheduling experience while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities Schedule and confirm patient appointments for imaging and/or clinical services Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling inquiries Verify patient demographics, insurance, and referral information Coordinate appointments according to physician orders and protocol requirements Maintain provider schedules and optimize appointment utilization Communicate preparation instructions and appointment details to patients Reschedule appointments as needed and manage cancellations/no-shows Collaborate with front office, clinical staff, and providers to support workflow efficiency Enter and update patient information accurately in the EMR/scheduling system Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred Minimum 1-2 years of scheduling, medical office, or customer service experience preferred Experience in radiology/imaging scheduling preferred Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology a plus Proficiency with EMR and scheduling systems Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Preferred Skills Exceptional phone etiquette and patient service skills Ability to prioritize and problem-solve effectively Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off Retirement plan options Professional growth opportunities
