Sunday Shift:

Days 12 hours per day Greets patients and answers calls promptly, courteously, and helpfully, routing them appropriately. Schedules patient appointments using software, following established procedures and standards. Maintains a pleasant and caring attitude when communicating with all internal and external customers. Demonstrates good judgment and time management skills to accomplish daily tasks efficiently. Communicates information effectively to patients, families, providers, and service representatives. Collaborates with physician offices to monitor resource utilization and deliver quality care. Demonstrates knowledge and compliance with organizational guidelines and regulatory requirements. Participates in patient outreach campaigns to schedule follow-up and annual physical/wellness exam appointments. Maintains confidentiality of medical records and other confidential information. Processes and distributes incoming and outgoing communications. Keeps updated on current office software and maintains knowledge of office equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Practical knowledge and experience in working with practice management software systems with the ability to direct workflow in order to optimize operations.

Proficient with computer programs:

Email, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, Call Center Software, and familiarity with various software packages and navigation techniques. Demonstrates interpersonal skills by effectively communicating with all levels of management, staff, outside vendors, patients, unit and administrative personnel, physicians, and a variety of other hospital and group staff. Ability to deal with data that is of a sensitive and confidential nature. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, including the ability to work under high stress volumes, multitask, and maintain detail orientation. Displays professional interaction with all levels of internal and external patients/customers as demonstrated by work history and interview process, including exceptional customer services skills with a focus on service recovery techniques. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person. Ability to integrate the knowledge of teaching principles and techniques in order to provide education to patients and their families. Possesses a high level of organizational skills and effective time management to prioritize and adjust workflow according to changing needs. Ability to function in demanding and emergency situations, and to adapt to change. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to function effectively under stress. Knowledge of medical terminology. General clerical skills.

Education:

Associate [Preferred] High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Field of Study:

in nursing, Management, or related healthcare field in nursing, business, or related field

Work Experience:

1+ position related experience [Required] Office experience in a medical setting [Preferred]

Pay Range:
