Niederhoffer Capital Management Inc. is a quantitative hedge fund with a 30+ year record. The firm was founded by a pioneer in systematic, short-term futures trading, applying unique insights in behavioral finance to financial markets. Our culture is research driven and employees are expected to be self-starters with an ability to work autonomously. Role Description The Operations Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Sunny Isles Beach, FL This position supports daily investment and trading operations, including trade capture, trade confirmation, and reconciliation with counterparties, custodians, and administrators. The Operations Associate will monitor and resolve breaks, ensure data accuracy across internal systems, and assist with cash management, settlements, and position reporting. The role includes preparing daily and periodic reports for internal teams and stakeholders, helping refine operational workflows, and supporting process automation and control enhancements. The Operations Associate will also coordinate with trading, risk, compliance, and external partners to ensure timely resolution of issues and smooth end-to-end operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. (May 2026 graduation date is acceptable)
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and VBA
  • Candidate is expected to have a basic knowledge of financial markets
  • Strong operations skills, including experience with trade processing, reconciliation, and operational controls. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
Customer service mindset, with a focus on responsiveness, reliability, and supporting internal "clients" such as trading, risk, and management.
Pay:
$55,000.00 per year
