Job Duties:

Provide legal support to personal injury attorneys and other paralegal staff. Assist with organizing, drafting, reviewing, and filing Requests for Admissions, Requests for Production, and Interrogatories to opposing parties. Managing, drafting, and reviewing discovery responses in a timely and efficient. Maintain and follow up on all Non-Party production documents, including Requests for Copies and non-party logs. Knowledge of the E-filing system on both the State and Federal levels. Assist with scheduling depositions, mediations, and arbitrations as needed. Contact with clients, judges, and opposing counsel. Preparation of other pleadings, Motions, and Orders under the supervision of attorneys, as needed.

Benefits:

$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year. Plus, potential for monthly bonuses. 1 week paid vacation after 6 months. 2 weeks paid vacation after one year. 3 weeks of paid vacation after two years. 6 paid personal/sick days per year. $50,000 life insurance policy paid by the firm. Health insurance (4 different options to choose from, including a Health Savings Account - HSA), basic packet health insurance paid in full by the firm. Dental and vision are paid for by the firm. Health benefits are available on the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Discounted JCC gym membership.

Qualifications:

Must have excellent organizational skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Self-starter and self-motivated, able to meet deadlines. Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus. Exemplary tenure with previous employers. Must pass a criminal background check. Preferred if the candidate is a Florida Bar Certified paralegal.
