Job Description

Job Description This position supervises and directs the daily activities of the lot personnel and the lot operations function for the Auction and ensures the efficient, orderly and proper check-in, staging and moving of vehicles on the lot and through the production points. Direct the daily operation of the vehicle check-in area by leading and coordinating the activities and the work flow of the drivers. Ensure efficient lot operation by coordinating the movement of vehicles from check-in to the sale staging. Oversee and ensure that incoming vehicles are received, stocked-in, numerated and parked in the proper areas. Provide quality service and interact with customers to resolve any problems hat may occur. Inspect and maintain lot operations equipment and ensure that it is functional and in good working condition. Supervise and direct the work of lot operations employees by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, expediting the workflow, assigning duties and monitoring work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures. Assist Supervisor in counseling and disciplining employees as necessary. Under the direction of the Supervisor, plan, monitor and evaluate employee job performance, and assist manager in conducting performance appraisals Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 7 years' experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years' experience; or 9 years' experience in a related field Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
USD 22.02 - 33.08
per hour
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $22.02 - $33.08/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave. Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
