Production & Planning Control Coordinator I WEG Electric Corp - 3.0 Duluth, GA Job Details Full-time 8 hours ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description About the role: WEG has an excellent opportunity for a Production Planning & Control Coordinator at our Duluth location. You will be primarily responsible for creating a production scheduling system for the manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and management organizations. The Production Planning & Control Coordinator creates, tracks, and reports on the current production status of released components. This position functions as a liaison between Engineering, Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Shipping/Receiving departments.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials according to the established production schedule. Ensures that the production schedule is clear and available to all impacted stakeholders and departments, making scheduling adjustments as needed. Coordinates and follows up with all affiliated departments to maintain the production schedule. Reports on the progress of work, inventory levels, and production challenges to all applicable stakeholders, including management. Performs analysis of resources in order to ensure a smooth and efficient production process. Maintains quality standards, keeping track of product inventory and implements corrective action, as needed. Continuously improves processes in order to maintain customer satisfaction Manages and tracks PPC KPI's, updated on a monthly basis. Providing explanation and corrective action when required. Hold accountable all affiliated individuals and departments to maintain the production schedule. Reports on the progress of work, inventory levels, and production challenges to all applicable stakeholders, including management Maintains quality standards, keeping track of product inventory and implements corrective action, as needed.
Education:
High School or GED Knowledge/Training Excel, Word and ERP system (SAP preferred). Must possess highly functional skills in, a solid understanding of a production environment and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods are required. Knowledge of business and management principles involved
Experience:
1-3 years of related experience is preferred. About WEG Electric Corp.
