Home Care Scheduler (Spanish Speaking Preferred)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Home Care Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and have prior experience in home care scheduling. This role requires someone who can manage multiple schedules, communicate effectively with caregivers and clients, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate caregivers for client shifts Maintain and update daily schedules and staffing assignments Communicate with caregivers, clients, and families regarding schedule changes Ensure all shifts are properly covered and filled in a timely manner Utilize GAMMIS and other home care systems for documentation and updates Handle call-outs, replacements, and urgent scheduling needs Maintain accurate records of schedules and client needs Work closely with administrative staff to support overall operations

Requirements:

Must be fluent in Spanish and English Previous experience in home care scheduling (required) Experience using GAMMIS or similar Medicaid/home care systems Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Prior experience in healthcare or home care coordination strongly preferred

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs Strong attention to detail Ability to handle high-volume scheduling Reliable and professional demeanor
