We are locally owned and have former TV, newspaper and radio journalists working to bring the best news coverage to our audience every day. We are expanding our true crime coverage with Courtroom Insider and need a video livestream operations coordinator and editor who will take us to the next level. Responsibilities Coordinate livestreams with producers and other partners in the field to receive live feed from courtrooms across the country. Use OBS system to produce livestreams. Use OBS to manage multi-layered scenes (video, graphics, audio, text, screen capture). Updating graphics during livestreams. Record and pull clips during live feed to upload to YouTube, social media and websites. Quickly troubleshoot technical issues, livestream connection, and basic computer problems during stressful situations. Edit video clips from court proceedings, interviews and other projects. Download audio from video presentations and convert for audio podcasts. Requirements Proficient in OBS and livestreaming Video editing Photo editing Audio mixing Live production We move fast so you'll need to be able to juggle multiple assignments while working independently. You must be punctual and reliable as courts do not wait for a video coordinator to get their act together. Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of video experience, but don't let that hold you back if you think you have what it takes. You'll generally work daytime hours Monday through Friday, but there will need to be some flexibility based on where trials are being held (for example, if we are streaming a trial that begins at 8 a.m. EST, we will need to start the livestream at 6 a.m. MST). Occasionally you may need to work a weekend or holiday if a jury is deliberating or a special session of court is being held. Salary range is $35,000 - $38,000.
