Job Description

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate Surgery Scheduler to join our Inland Shoulder Team! •This position will be located at our NEW Spokane, WA Clinic• Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the surgery scheduler is responsible for ensuring that surgical cases are scheduled accurately using both manual and automated systems, facilitating telephone messages and usage with a high level of service, and assisting in medical records management to support the completion of accurate medical documents. Maintains accurate records associated with the scheduling and processing of patient documentation. Scheduler is able to utilize the automated systems to support the scheduling functions. Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina, and endurance.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
High school diploma Ability to relate and work effectively with others Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own growth and advancement Is aware of the workings of an operating room environment and surgical scheduling. Previous experience is highly preferred
