The Operations Team Member at

FLINN SCIENTIFIC INC

is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations within the company. This role is essential for ensuring that operational processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success and productivity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the coordination and execution of operational tasks and projects. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maintain quality standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management to ensure adequate supply. Support the implementation of new processes and technologies to enhance operational capabilities. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operational activities. Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussions. Assist in training and onboarding new team members to ensure seamless integration into the team.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is preferred.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operations or logistics role. Experience working in a scientific or educational supply company is a plus. Proven track record of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and clients. Proficiency in using inventory management and operations software. Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in a scientific supply context is advantageous.
