This position is responsible for the daily work schedule for a group of physicians and APP's by answering multiple phone requests for appointments, verifying and updating patient information and maintaining physician and APP schedules. The applicant must be able to work cohesively as a member of a Patient Care Team while supporting the vision and values of our organization. Applicant must exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to use good judgment regarding confidential information. This position reports to the Patient Access Director.
Position Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent with knowledge of medical terminology 2 Years previous work experience in a medical facility Computer experience with accurate typing skills Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations Demonstrates clear and articulate speaking voice Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills Personality and demeanor to deal with the public and assist ill, older, or distraught patients We strongly encourage you to include an updated resume when submitting your application.
