We are highly focused on preventative care and perform thousands of screening colonoscopies and upper endoscopy procedures annually to help keep our patients healthy and promote early detection of serious illnesses. Our GI practice is seeking a full-time Appointment Scheduler to assist patients as they schedule office and procedure appointments and provide general support that leads to the best patient care and experience our practice has to offer.

Job Duties:

Patient registration Capture patient demographics, enter insurance information and run eligibility Ensure all patient information is entered into the EMR system accurately (gMed) Schedule patient appointments and procedures Answer/Direct patient phone calls

Job Qualifications:

Must have high school diploma or equivalent Previous medical office experience - one year (preferred) Previous experience with EHR (preferred) Excellent patient service and phone etiquette Attention to detail while capturing patient information

Pay:

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
