Job Description

The Catalog & Event Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily management, integrity, and performance of our live event catalog within a 24/7 B2B SaaS ticketing environment. This role owns the lifecycle of event data — from creation and configuration to validation and publication — ensuring accurate, real-time ticket availability for our customers. The position sits at the intersection of catalog management, event operations, and customer impact. Because our customers depend on timely, precise event inventory to run their businesses, this role requires exceptional attention to detail, structured process execution, and strong operational accountability. Core Responsibilities Event Catalog Management Create, configure, and publish new live events within the SaaS platform Maintain complete and accurate event metadata (event details, venues, seating maps, availability status) Ensure catalog standardization across events to maintain data integrity Validate playoff event setup prior to go-live to prevent downstream customer impact Audit live catalog listings for consistency, accuracy, and completeness Inventory Governance & Data Accuracy Process daily ticket inventory feeds and system updates Resolve inventory mismatches quickly to protect platform reliability Escalate high-impact issues affecting event go-live timing Live Event Operations Support Respond to urgent same-day event updates or ticket requests Coordinate closely with Customer Service and Operations on priority events Ensure real-time inventory availability aligns with event timelines Support high-volume and high-profile events with heightened attention Process Improvement & Documentation Maintain documentation for catalog workflows and operational procedures Identify recurring data issues and recommend corrective process improvements Contribute to catalog automation and system optimization initiatives Track and report recurring inventory discrepancies for systemic resolution Schedule & Reliability Expectations Must be consistently logged in and operational at the designated start time 8 a.m. (CST) Daily event catalog and inventory updates must be completed timely each morning This is a mission-critical role within a 24/7 live event environment Delays or inaccuracies directly impact customers and escalate to senior leadership Strong attendance, punctuality, and ownership are mandatory Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in catalog management, event operations, inventory management, ticketing systems, or SaaS operations Early schedule required; daily live event catalog updates must be completed before customer business hours (8 a.m. (CST)). Strong data accuracy and attention to detail Ability to independently manage structured workflows during early hours High level of accountability and urgency Experience working in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments Proficiency in SaaS platforms and spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) Preferred Experience with live event ticketing platforms or event technology systems Background in B2B SaaS operations Familiarity with 24/7 service or high-availability operational environments Experience working with structured product or event catalogs Core Competencies Catalog & Data Governance Event Lifecycle Management Operational Execution Reliability & Accountability Time Management Detail Orientation Problem Resolution Customer Impact Awareness Clear, Proactive Communication What Success Looks Like Event catalog is consistently accurate, standardized, and published on time Live inventory is active and validated daily Minimal escalations related to catalog accuracy or event go-live timing Proactive risk identification and communication Strong operational partnership with Customer Service leadership Continuous improvements to catalog processes and efficiency Why This Role Matters Our platform operates around the clock, and our customers rely on accurate event data and real-time ticket availability to power their businesses.
