Band & Orchestra Operations Specialist Fort Wayne, IN Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Packing Inventory management Labeling Continuous improvement Cleaning Warehouse experience Pallet jack Picking & packing Entry level Full Job Description Job Requirements Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and musical instruments is seeking to hire Band and Orchestra Operations Specialists to add to our growing Band and Orchestra team. In this role, an Operations Specialist will support the rental, repair, and inspection teams, move and label inventory, clean and grade rental instruments, pack and ship rental instruments, and assist with the daily operations of our dynamic and growing Band and Orchestra department.
Responsibilities:
Move inventory according to proper inventory control procedures Fulfill rental instrument contracts including navigating the rental software, cleaning instruments and instrument cases, adding accessories to instrument cases, packing and shipping rental instruments, and receiving and processing rental returns. Supply work to inspection and repair teams in an organized and efficient manner Other duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment a plus Experience playing at least one wind or orchestral string instrument Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment and use non-powered equipment including pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucks Ability to lift, push, and pull instrument cases and boxes up to 75 pounds Ability to work while sitting or standing for long periods of time Ability to work under pressure while maintaining patience and a positive attitude Adept at multi-tasking and time management Ability to thrive on change Sweetwater "Ideal"Team-Player:
