Job Description

Join a Mission That Changes Lives The Erdheim-Chester Disease Global Alliance (ECDGA) is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Operations & Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day activities of our growing international nonprofit organization focused on rare diseases. This position is based in our DeRidder, Louisiana, office and is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful work, values being part of a collaborative team, takes pride in helping others, and wants to grow alongside a mission-driven organization that serves a global community. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support for ECDGA activities. Maintain and update information in Bloomerang CRM. Update organizational spreadsheets and reports. Draft emails, letters, and other organizational correspondence. Prepare thank-you notes, sympathy cards, birthday messages, and other communications. Assist with Zoom meetings, webinars, educational programs, and community events. Support planning and coordination of conferences and awareness activities. Monitor mail and assist with office organization and maintenance. Assist with bookkeeping and accounting-related administrative tasks. Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting logistics. Review documents and communications for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism. Assist with social media monitoring and Facebook requests. Qualifications Required Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Close attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Strong proofreading and quality-review skills. Preferred Experience working in a nonprofit organization. Experience with CRM systems such as Bloomerang. Experience supporting Zoom meetings, webinars, or virtual events. Basic bookkeeping or accounting experience. Experience coordinating events or conferences.
