Job Description

Compensation:
$15 per hour
Job Summary:
This role will support ALKU's Professional Operations teams, Personnel Services, and Client Services. This role will assist with audits, data cleanup, system testing, and special projects tied to process improvements and technology implementations across both teams. This is a hands-on, project-based role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and excited to learn how operational teams support a fast-paced staffing organization. The intern will gain exposure to cross-functional workflows, internal systems, and real-world business operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Personnel Services Support Assist with various audits related to onboarding documentation, compliance records, and database accuracy Support archival and cleanup of onboarding paperwork (digital and physical) Sort incoming mail and update records accordingly Assist with third-party vendor consolidation or transition projects Support Payroll and Benefits initiatives as needed Assist with the completion of security prescreen forms Support cross-functional coverage needs by taking on varied tasks across the team during high-volume periods Client Services Support Assist with database cleanup and data integrity projects Support ad hoc audits related to client records and system setup Help document and validate processes as ownership and workflows evolve Cross-Functional / Project-Based Work Assist with testing and validation during system or technology implementations (including CLM initiatives) Support operational process improvements and internal initiatives as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Detail-oriented Highly organized Analytical Adept in technology (Excel experience a plus) Adaptable and resourceful Works well independently and with teams "Outside the box" problem-solver Ability to follow and expand processes Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
