This role is ideal for someone with caregiving or home care experience who enjoys coordinating care, supporting caregivers, and being a reliable point of contact for clients and families. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless care delivery by managing schedules, handling call-outs, supporting client intake, and assisting with in-person orientations. Key Responsibilities Caregiver Scheduling & Coverage Schedule caregivers to meet client care needs efficiently Manage last-minute call-outs , shift changes, and emergency coverage Ensure proper staffing levels and continuity of care Client Intake & Communication Answer incoming calls from clients, families, and caregivers Assist with new client intake , gather information, and coordinate start of care Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day client and caregiver communication Operations & Orientation Support Assist with in-person caregiver orientations , including check-ins and paperwork coordination Support onboarding and scheduling for newly hired caregivers Maintain accurate documentation in scheduling and client management systems Care Coordination Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and management team to support care plans Help ensure smooth transitions from hospital or rehab to home care services Step in to assist with caregiving tasks when needed (preferred experience) Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in home care scheduling , caregiving, or healthcare coordination preferred HHA, or some hands-on caregiving experience strongly preferred to cover call outs on need basis Driver's License, CPR certificate and TB test results are needed Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable handling a fast-paced environment and urgent staffing needs Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Basic computer skills; experience with scheduling software is a plus Ability to multitask and problem-solve independently Skills & Attributes Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Proactive and solution-oriented mindset Team player willing to support operations as needed Ability to remain calm under pressure What We Offer Flexible work schedule (2-3 days in office) Paid training Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow within a respected home care organization Meaningful work that makes a difference in seniors' lives
