Friday Position Overview :
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, reliable and friendly Scheduling Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This role involves scheduling, confirming, and managing patient appointments, preparing charts, verifying documentation, checking in patients, ensuring accurate scheduling, and the ability to complete prior authorizations. The successful candidate will be organized, respectful, kind, and willing to help with tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate and manage complex schedules for patients with multiple appointments across various disciplines within the clinic. Answer incoming calls and provide information regarding services, appointments, and office policies. Utilize EMR/EHR system for appointment scheduling and management. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our services and effectively communicate them to patients. Demonstrate empathy and excellent customer service, particularly when dealing with patients who may be experiencing distress or discomfort. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient experiences, including close collaboration with the Physicians. Keep track of a variety of tasks including patient clinical concerns communicated via phone, forms and letters, and communicating with the full PRISM team. Qualifications (in addition to the above): High school diploma or equivalent (Required), Associates Degree in Medical Assistant or other relevant field or Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) Proficient in using EMR/EHR systems for scheduling Proficient in Excel and Outlook to keep track of tasks with team
