Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Learning Operations Specialist to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.
NOTE:
Onsite 5 days/week - located in
Auburn Hills, MIRESPONSIBILITIES:
Procedure documentation, efficiency assessments (process capability, cycle-time, downtime data with impact categorization, and FTC monitoring);
DFSS/DMAIC
project execution;Implementation of lean process methodologies, continuous quality-improvement strategies, and autonomous mitigation/prevention of test issues aimed at both quality improvements and cost reductionsCreating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniquesGuarantee, within his/her scope of responsibility, the effective and timely implementation of the learning initiatives designed by the LBPSupport needs analysis and collection of individual requests (e.g. related to PDI)Organize and coordinate training delivery (eLearning, virtual classes, ILT, etc.), by meeting the global standards/guidelines in terms of processes, technologies and tools to be used (learning ecosystem, authoring tools, planning tools, e-signature, etc.)Guarantee that all training data are constantly updated into the common systemCollect and provide data related to the agreed learning KPIs (satisfaction, hours delivered)Guarantee compliance of delivered training with local and global rules (e.g., EHS, Funding, synergies, learning policies)Collect needs in his/her scope of responsibility and share them with the LBPsOrganize the training defined by the LBPs of reference (from convocations to the evaluation of effectiveness) in his/her own scope of responsibilityOrganize training (e.g. mandatory, technical certifications, technological updates in the plants), using the tools (e.g. Stellantis Learning Hub) provided, in coordination with the LBP of referenceProvide timely data/reporting required for preparation of funded plans (where applicable) and social commitments (including Unions, Sustainability Report), monitoring and any audits/certificationsReport to the appropriate RTM any critical issues, problems or proposals to be submitted to the learning communitiesWork with purchasing to coordinate supplier bid processWork with suppliers for training programsCreate presentations for management program updatesManage the learning management system (courses, reporting, rosters) Project Management and Presentation experience using PowerPoint
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university.

Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in defining and/or applying process improvement techniques CSOD (Cornerstone) experience - 3+ yearsLMS ownership experienceStrong project management skills (organization, follow-up, timelines)Training coordination/learning operations experienceAbility to manage multiple training sessions/logistics simultaneously
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$47.00 - $51.00/hour (depending on experience)Cost-sharing medical & dental benefits after 30 days401K plan after 90 daysMEDA offers an excellent referral bonus. Great candidates know great candidates.
