The ideal candidate will ensure smooth communication between kitchen staff and front-of-house service, coordinate food preparation and delivery, and uphold high standards of food quality and presentation. This role is essential in maintaining efficient kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences, particularly in fine dining or catering environments. Candidates with experience in dietary departments, menu planning, or culinary arts will find this position aligns well with their skills. The Expeditor will play a vital role in supporting food safety, food handling, and meal presentation to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Act as a liaison between kitchen staff and servers to facilitate timely and accurate food delivery Ensure orders are correctly assembled according to specifications and presentation standards Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation before serving Coordinate with culinary team on meal timing and plating to optimize service flow Assist in food preparation tasks such as basic cooking, knife skills, or garnishing as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to uphold food safety standards Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on dish execution and presentation Help manage special dietary requests by ensuring proper handling and preparation of meals Contribute to a positive team environment focused on exceptional food service in fine dining or catering settings Experience Prior experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or culinary settings is preferred Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, or food service operations is advantageous Background in fine dining, restaurant service, catering, or the food industry is highly desirable Skills in food handling, cooking, food safety practices, and knife techniques are beneficial Previous roles involving food preparation, serving, or kitchen experience will support success in this position This role offers an opportunity for motivated individuals with culinary experience to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding dining experiences.
