Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Grain Elevator Operations Specialist and become a vital part of the agricultural supply chain! In this energetic role, you will oversee the safe and efficient operation of grain handling equipment, manage inbound and outbound grain shipments, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, mechanical systems, and agriculture will drive smooth operations at our grain storage facilities. This position also handles the drying of the corn. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, corn dryer, and conveyors, to handle grain efficiently and safely. Manage inbound deliveries of grain from farmers and suppliers, verifying quantities and quality. Oversee outbound shipments, ensuring proper loading. Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery and mechanical systems to prevent downtime. Monitor grain levels, storage conditions, and equipment performance to maintain optimal storage conditions. Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in an industrial setting. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, food production, or farming operations is highly desirable. Experience working in agriculture, and grain handling environments. Ability to operate tanker trucks or participate in commercial driving duties if required. Knowledge of safety regulations related to food production, heavy equipment operation, and transportation. Strong physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
