About Us Laketown Mills is a specialty grain ingredient manufacturer based in Waconia, MN. We provide toll processing, co-manufacturing, and ingredient supply to the food and agriculture industries. Our team values precision, organization, and proactive problem-solving in everything we do. Position Overview We are seeking an Operations & Quality Coordinator to act as the central hub of our business operations. This role wears many hats—managing food safety and quality documentation, keeping production records up to date, coordinating shipping logistics, and providing HR and administrative support. You will be the go-to person for ensuring that our backend operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update food safety documentation and quality assurance records to meet regulatory and customer requirements Manage production recordkeeping and ensure data accuracy Coordinate shipping and logistics, including scheduling, documentation, and carrier communications Support HR functions such as onboarding paperwork, personnel record maintenance, and compliance tracking Organize and track inventory, production schedules, and project timelines Prepare reports and maintain well-organized filing systems (digital and physical) Serve as an administrative resource for the management team and assist across multiple departments Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general tech applications Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing needs Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities Prior experience in administration, quality assurance, logistics, or HR preferred but not required Knowledge of food manufacturing or agricultural processing a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growing company with a supportive team Variety in day-to-day work with opportunities to learn new skills Growth potential and career development opportunities
