Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Scheduler to support daily manufacturing operations through effective planning and coordination of production schedules. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining daily, weekly, and long-range production plans that align with customer demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity. The ideal candidate will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Plant Leadership to ensure production runs efficiently while balancing priorities, materials availability, and operational constraints. This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to solving scheduling challenges. Key Responsibilities Create, maintain, and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and plans. Enter and manage production work orders within Oracle ERP systems. Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to align production schedules with material availability. Support make-to-stock and make-to-order production strategies while monitoring finished goods inventory levels. Provide accurate and timely finished goods availability and customer promise dates. Monitor and report KPI metrics related to production schedule adherence, inventory management, lead times, and order fulfillment. Schedule work-in-process materials to support finished goods production requirements. Ensure manufacturing teams have all required documentation, labels, and production materials. Participate as an active member of the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) team. Maintain accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs). Coordinate planned maintenance and repair outages with Plant Operations and Supply Chain teams. Respond quickly to production disruptions, schedule changes, and shifts in customer demand. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Experience with master scheduling and/or finite production scheduling required. Previous experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, capacities, and inventory management. Ability to analyze production systems, material balances, and BOM structures. Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP systems required; Oracle experience strongly preferred. Ability to interpret data, prepare analytical reports, and make data-driven production decisions. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and leadership. Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Fluent in English. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
