Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Expeditor to join our energetic culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing delicious dishes and ensuring that every plate leaving the kitchen meets our high standards. You'll work closely with the kitchen staff to keep operations running smoothly and deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Duties Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating according to established recipes and presentation standards. Expedite orders by coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of hot, fresh dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Support the team during busy service times by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth workflow. Follow all food safety protocols to uphold health standards and prevent cross-contamination. Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues quickly and efficiently. Help with basic food prep tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and proper sanitation practices. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve guests efficiently. Ability to stay organized and work well under pressure during busy hours. Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, or banquet service is a plus.
