Summary:
The Scheduler II is responsible for the scheduling of all Professional and Paraprofessional staff in assigned clinical offices and other related duties. Qualification Requirements Associates Degree in Human Services or related field preferred High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience in health care, or working with elderly or disabled preferred Ability to understand and communicate well with patients, family, and staff Previous data entry experience required Essential Functions Abides by and supports 3HC's Compliance Program and Code of Ethics. 3HC's Compliance motto is "Compliance for all and all for Compliance". Displays a high degree of courtesy, tact, and knowledge of services provided by the agency in all contact with staff, patients, and visitors. Responsible for the scheduling of
Professional/Paraprofessional Staff:
(a) accurately schedules using current EMR system so patients are seen as ordered, to include fill-ins, (b) generates model, working calendars and service orders per policy, and (c) assist in maintaining current information into EMR system (d) notify MD of missed aides visits Coordinates calls from clinical offices, patients, caregivers, and Professional staff including contract staff related to schedules. Employs proper telephone etiquette. Participates in the orientation of new staff upon hire within 90 days. Shares data relative to Professional staff's annual performance reviews to supervisor upon request. Collaborates with supervisor and office clinical directors to meet clinical office assigned productivity standard. Assist with notification to the physician per fax notification form of any missed nursing assistant visits at least weekly if needed. Coordinates SOC; (a) availability with Intake and Marketing; (b) patients and caregiver and professional staff with appropriate information. Facilitate as the gate keeper to communicate with Intake Insurance and authorization to include: (a) SOC/ROC, and Recert visits; (b) documenting visits without authorization but approval from Clinical Direct/Assistant Clinical Director in the case communication billing note. Rotates week nights, weekends and holiday "on-call" and back-up call" if needed. Demonstrates an interest in personal and professional growth for self and staff: (a) attends and participates in workshops, seminars, webcasts to keep abreast of current changes in rules, regulations, relating to job functions and department; (b) does individual reading and research; and (c) recommends educational opportunities for staff and encourages participation. Demonstrates a willingness to be cost effective in the use of agency resources, the monitoring of waste, and the proper and safe use of supplies and equipment. Adheres to 3HC's Personnel Policy and performs other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor to promote the successful operations and future growth of 3HC. 3HC is an equal opportunity employer.
