Job Description

The Evening Coordinator serves as a frontline representative for Brunswick Community College at the Leland Center. This part-time position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while promoting a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for students, staff, instructors, and visitors during evening operations. Coordinate and support evening operations at the Leland Center. Assist students with registration, classroom locations, and general navigation of the facility. Respond professionally to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries. Maintain a safe and secure environment by conducting room checks, following safety protocols, and securing the facility at closing. Prepare classrooms and meeting spaces as requested for instructional and community activities. Answer incoming telephone calls, relay messages, and provide accurate information to students and visitors. Operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and copy machines. Foster a positive and professional atmosphere that reflects the mission and values of Brunswick Community College. Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and community partners to support evening programming and student success. High school diploma or equivalency. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to maintain a professional, courteous, and welcoming work environment. Basic computer and office equipment proficiency required. Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain professionalism.
